Sounds don't play smoothly on locked screen..

So I like falling to sleep to sounds. I notice that when the screen turns off, the sounds suddenly stop after maybe 30secs. Then starts playing again. Why is it doing this? I tried a few different apps and the same thing. When the screen stays on, no issues at all..

Try lightning bug from the market, they actually have a patch for their app to fix this, and it is the sleep clock/sound machine I use.
