It appears that all of the "rumint" was true. The HTC EVO 4G smartphone and the HTC View 4G LTE tablet just had their official launches announced for Sprint. They will both appear on June 24th, although you can order the EVO 3D through Sprint.com a few days early on the 21st. The EVO 3D will be $200 bucks on-contract, and the View 4G will be $400 on-contract. Here's a quick breakdown of the specs for these two devices, just as a refresher:

HTC EVO 3D Android Smartphone = $200 On-Contract
  • Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with HTC Sense 3.0
  • 4.3-inch qHD (960×540) glasses-free 3D display
  • 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 dual-core processor
  • Dual 5MP rear cameras capable of 1080p video recording
  • 1.3MP front-facing camera
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 4GB of internal storage
  • WiMAX connectivity
HTC View 4G LTE Android Tablet = $400 On-Contract
  • Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with tablet version of HTC Sense 3.0
  • 7-inch 1024×600 display
  • 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 single-core processor
  • 5MP rear camera
  • 1.3MP front-facing camera

Interestingly, Sprint has sweetened the deal with the tablet by throwing in the $80 dollar HTC Scribe stylus for free. The previously released WiFi only model doesn't include that.
