I have JB 4.2.1 and like using my stock email app. I have an email account through my cable company and have set up IMAP in Windows Live Mail and all works well. On my android, I'm getting two sets of folders for email. Attached are two pics showing the folders. The first set seems to be the 'built-in' folders, the second set is the IMAP folders.
At first, I was having a similar problem with Windows Live Mail, but fixed it when I entered 'Inbox' in the root folder path. When I try to do the same in the stock email app, I get a connection error.
What am I doing wrong?
