I like this little pad as it is, but nothing I try seems to disable Google Voice Typing for long. I've tried all the net suggestions I can find. Sometimes it disappears for a bit, then comes back. I've even tried factory reset a couple of times, but always comes back. I would ignore it, but it's in your face and I can't access the keyboard because it's right over it, and can't be minimized. It's very irritating. I've considered rooting it, but that's a risky process which might brick it, and may not solve the problem.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
