Tablet PC for my son?? Best model?

My son is 7years old and has to use the internet for homework but when he is allowed he also uses it to watch episodes of Power Rangers etc and use Friv.

I have been looking in google and find a tablet Superpad 6/Flytouch 6 for his age range, but I was wondering if there are anymore brands on the market that he could use google, youtube and friv on?? Or am I missing the point of the tablet??
