I received this notice after running a antivirus scan.
Your device is running in High Privilege Mode (ie. it has been rooted ).
We recommend using only genuine firmware.
Does anyone know what this means and how I might be able to fix/remove the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your consideration: brian

Change your antivirus. I switched from Lookout to Avast after Lookout started detecting apps I modified with test keys.

Thank you very much, I changed the antivirus and it no longer shows any problems.

Welcome to the forum Brian. Glad that worked, but I'm surprised your old AV didn't give you the option of ignoring the problem.

In the case of Lookout, you could ignore it, but only for that scan. Subsequent scans would once again pick up the app. It became very annoying very quickly.

In my opinion, there's no need for AV. But that's another discussion :)
