USB WebCam Capable?

We have an application that would require a USB WebCam to be connected and delivering video. It would then connect to an app that would supply a one-way video conferencing capability so that the remote user can see what the camera sees. I understand that there are already two cameras on the device, but the application requires a tethered camera. (e.g. the camera would be worn, the tablet would probably be in a backpack).

Has anyone tried WebCams with success or failure on this tablet? Success or failure with particular brands/models?

Thanks.

Anyone have experience getting a Tablet to run a Webcam? Did you need to modify the standard OS load?

It seems that some devices are coming out with full capability USB ports, but perhaps the OS configuration is limiting?
