Using a hub on a micro USB connection

I have a generic tablet with a micro USB input. I have a converter cable to use it with regular usb connections and have successfully used it for a flash drive and also for a keyboard. Will the Android ICS handle a hub on that micro-USB connections so that I could use the keyboard, and also use the flash drive?

Powered hub works for me with mouse, keyborad and flash drive.

I also use a powered hub, works great with tablets to add mouse, keyboard and harddrives.
