Visual-Land Prestige 7 wifi connection lost

My son's Visual-Land Prestige 7, which I bought yesterday, keeps losing wifi connection. It worked flawlessly yesterday but, today it says that my wifi router is saved but, it will not stay connected, meaning I got it working again today but, now its gone. Anyone know what to do? Thanks

I have a similar problem however my tablet is rooted. since the root its stuck on obtaining ip address. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
