It's in my system apps and seems to be running a lot. What is it and can I remove it? I have done a google search and came up with nothing.

It is the process checking to see if a USB device is connected to the tablet and if it is, mounts the USB device for use. Example: Using the adapter cable connect a standard USB drive, that drive will now be accessible to any of the applications (ie. Pictures, movies, files).

Thank you. Definitely don't want to remove this then since I love using my wireless mouse with this device.

Also, just discovered it's not included in the update therefore, while you get better performance because this service isn't running, nothing you connect to the OTG port is recognized. Don't bother updating till this is resolved.
