Ok all,
So far I know I can plug in a usb mouse and it works.
I have just bought a leather case/usb keyboard so should have a nice little home to store it in.

I just wondered whether my superpad can :-
-Hook up to a bluetooth USB dongle
-Communicate with a bluetooth GPS receiver
-Connect with with a remote control to operate the media player in a car
-Connect to a bluetooth OBDII sensor and run the 'Torque' App with live engine data.
-Connect other usb devices such as joypads to play games.
-Hook up and browse a household network to find movies/music

Anyone know what is possible and any more neat tricks worth mentioning?
cheers:cool:

I have an iCan (10" branded Flytouch II), and I know you can connect to the internet via a home network, but Android does not "browse a household network" unless you have an app for that. I found one for doing FTP, and I have a network attached storage device that does FTP.

I hear you can attach a large USB drive. Not sure if there are limitations on how it is formatted, but it does need to supply its own power.

As to the rest, if they have Android drivers built into the device, it'll work. If it has Linux drivers it may work. Beyond this...

1. No bluetooth drive on either FT2 or FT3. No bluetooth possibility.
2. Unless a car (or car's media player) has an OS bulitin (ie. Android or others). No luck.
3. USB to USB data connection. Possible. Software to support it (most Android phone can do it) + USB to USB cable enabled (have to buy the right cable)
4. Basically either PC or FT3 acts as a disk drive from the other end. There you can move data files around. Browse internet. No unless software developer do it. Unlikely.
