WiFi Logon Problem

Tablet running Jelly Bean finds my Wifi router and reports a strong signal. It does NOT however give me the log on screen to enter password.
Can anyone help please.

You did not specify which logon prompt you are expecting, so based on the subject, I'll assume you're referring to wifi security. If the router does not have wifi security turned on, it does not require a password to establish the network connection. If it is on, go to Settings > WiFi and edit the configuration. To modify an existing access point, long-press the item.
