Wireless wi-fi dropping signal

Hello I am trying to find out a cure for the wi-fi wireless drop out. We are within a 30 feet of a wire less network and we get losses of connection.

I have got a range extenter for wifi and to get 1 bar I have to be on top of the extenter. The tech support told me to get a usb adpater. When I asked what kind they haven't replied yet (10 days ago). I will never buy from ********** again. Any help with wifi would be nice thank you.
