I'm thinking to order a Xoom tablet to Bestbuy, however, since I'm a naive user, not sure what could be the limitations of having a xoom tablet in australia, I mean, some people say that I should wait for an Australian or International Version of the tablet. Why?
What about connectivity?? It could be affected because the tablet is not an australian one?

i have the same problem, i just want the wifi version. I'm sure you don't need to worry about wifi connectivity or bluetooth.

i asked Motorola if it was ok for use in Australia and they emailed me this:

Thank you for your interest in our products. Motorola Wi-Fi does not use any SIM access for internet connection. Technically, this tablet can be used anywhere.

Please click on the link I have provided so you can view the technical specification of Motorola Xoom:

MOTODEV > Products > XOOM™ MZ600

The only thing that may vary with the tablet released in the United States and with other country is the preloaded software on it. And you need also to consider the warranty of the unit as Motorola does not international warranty coverage.
