Backing up Onda V972 help please

Can somebody please tell me how to backup the onda v972. I have phoenix suite and everytime i press back up the message comes up:
opendir failed, permission denied and it doesnt back up. Anybody have the solution. at the moment everytime i update the firmware i lose everything. Really hating this tablet at the moment. It is not user friendly at all. piece of crap

Data backup is only possible when receiving root access. After receiving the root access is done, you need use Titanium backup.apk.

If you use the latest Kasty rom, this will already be rooted.

since it was reported that the use of TWRP back up could cause problems in this rom.
