How to format a new internal SD Card

I would like to increase the internal SD Card in my IMX515 from 4gb to 8gb but don't know how to partition the new card or how to copy the patitions to the new card - I can copy the files that show up when I put the card into the PC but that does not show the the partitions that are on there which I presume have the operating system on

Unfortunately no - I could copy 2 partitions but not the 3rd one
