lame live backgrounds with the a500?

After seeing so many videos of HTC and other devices running live backgrounds on 2.3 and more I can't help but wonder why Acer chose to ship live backgrounds that look like they were ripped out of windoze 98.

Does anyone know where I can install different live backgrounds?

Plenty of live wallpapers in the market. Not sure if there are many tablet optimized ones but it is worth a look. Or you could wait until root is obtained and live wallpapers from other devices start to get ported over.

Do a Market search for live wallpaper, and you will find plenty. I found some really cool ones for my last tablet.

I have better things to use my battery life on than running live wall papers.

But when you decide to use them, make sure it mentions tablets, because some of them can chew up a lot of power of they are to be resale.
