Samsung Galaxy Note II is the company’s second phone/tablet hybrid device. This handset was announced in September at the IFA 2012 event in Berlin. It is the successor of the popular Galaxy Note phablet and the company’s first device to run on the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) Operating System.

Even before the release of this device, Samsung was already sure that the Galaxy Note II will be a clear winner in the phablet category. Some of you might even remember that during the launch of this device Samsung’s JK Shin said that the company will sell more than 20 million units of Galaxy Note II globally within 12 months. Today, Samsung announced that the company managed to sell 3 million units of this device in just 37 days!

Samsung Galaxy Note II comes with a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED HD display, sporting a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels, 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, 8 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, 64 GB expandable memory, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, S-Pen, S Note, S Planner, Samsung Hub, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G LTE Connectivity, DLNA, Google Play Store, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC and a 3100mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy Note II is currently up for pre-order at AT&T and Verizon. We won’t be surprised if the device hit the 10 million mark before the end of this year.
