5 ghz WiFi on A500?

No.

The radio is physically not capable.

Any proper router should sense this and service the tablet on 2.4 band.

Your router is capable of 2.4GHz with 14 channels - for your tablet. Leave the 5GHz for other devices.

Unless you want to solder in a 5GHz radio chip - the answer is NO!
