lcd density lets you change the whole screen resolution but it broke with BN 1.1 not sure if anyone has a solution yet. If you are running 1.01 you can try it

I am running 1.1 rooted and I have lcddensity installed and working without issue. I changed my screen to 180 from the default 169.......seems to work well.

Almost every browser app, you can change the font size

example:
Dolphin HD > settings > Advanced settings > text size & default zoom
Stock browser > menu > settings > text size & default zoom
Opera Mini > menu > settings > text size

I can change font size in a browser but when just in xoom its a very small font. Can't figure out how to increase font. I'm not a skilled tech. Very basic user

I'll assume as an unskilled user you are using the default browser. In that case, open the browser and then Menu>More>Settings>Text Size and choose a different size (probably "huge").
