cannot connect to internet browser

I just got my tablet and it will not let me connect to the WIFI because it is "secured with WEP" what does that mean?

Hi RD, congratulations on your new tablet and welcome to the forum. The "secured with WEP" message means the network you're trying to use is password protected and you need to find out what the password is. If it's your network or a free hotspot, whoever set it up should know the password. If it's not your network or a free hotspot, it's most likely illegal for you to connect to it.

Have you tried the Telephone Number of where you are as the Password?
