Cannot remove Getjar 7012

Don't like the Getjar app. Uses memory and I don't use it. I have Market and Amazon. Cannot uninstall Getjar. Any ideas how to get rid of it??

Open file manager. Go to "downloads". Find GetJar. Uninstall.

Uninstall is greyed out.

You need to root your tab so you can uninstall it. Try z4root or gingerbreak. If unsuccessful Google super one click root. After you get root install root uninstaller.

How did you install it? Usually, only system apps and bloat thrown on by manufacturer can't be removed.

Came pre-installed by Coby. Not going to root.

Coby recommends doing it from their website,

Using the tablet's browser enter: www.cobyusa.com/getjar-apk In the top notification bar a new menu will open, scroll down and select DELETE.

Your link just downloads getjar again. There is no notification of anything. How did you come about that link?

Without root you can't unistall system apps.
