Charging setup on S7 Slim

Can anyone confirm that the charging setup is the same on the Slim as on the original S7?
ie through the 3.2mm power port.

Same port, ive charged my slim with my gen1 charger, and vise versa.

Is there any way to use USB to changing S7 ? i plan to use external charge to charge my s7 but really hard to find the power port .

Check out my thread on charging with micro USB cable. The method uses a patch cable which then applies the power through a modified power cable. You then only need to carry the one cable to charge from any USB port.

The slim comes with a multi tip cable... haven't tried to charge via usb pc tho....seems using the wall charger only takes about an hour or so...

Ive got the same multi-tip cable and the manual tells you NOT to charge it via USB as it might damage the PC or the tablet... whats up with that?

OK. I've tested the USB charging and it does work. For me it only worked when the tablet is off.
