    All,

Best Buy has new Coby mid9742 for 129.99. Local Frys.com has it for 139.99. Looks like they're closing out this model. Is this Coby Generation 3 tablet a "Buy" now?

I know there is a lot of development and support on this site for the 9742. I'm sure it's a great tablet. But with the new Generation 4 mid9765 coming, dual-core...Google Certified, I'm not sure if I shouldn't just wait. I'm sure the 9765 will be closer to 200.00, so 129.99 seems like a great deal.

    Thoughts???

Spend the extra money and get the 9765 or better yet, a Lenovo A2109. The dual core processor makes a world of difference here. The Generation 3 units suffer from laggy response because the single core processor simply can't keep up with the demands it's subjected to. Plus, the units have the Play Store preinstalled, which eliminates the number one reason people rooted these tablets.
