Computer connection isnt working..HELP ASAP

I have the infotmic (520) and want to update it to the newest (578) however my computer wont see the tablet and it used to.

I have changed back to software build 1578 from 3245 hoping that would solve the problem.

I have tried it with and without the USB development checked.

I have done factory rest, cleared cach and re-installed software many times.

I have used vertual Xp on windows 7 then brought out old computer with XP on it (no luck)

I have right clicked on the secbulk file and clicked install

the male A to male A cable is a purchased one so connections are good

I use top USB post between headphone and first TF

I hold Power + Menue till it sits at the infotmic screen.....

Please Help me ASAP

Your UIW software should be running, and installing the driver for yout tablet.

It is and never turns green

I have tried 2 diffrent programs that I saw on the forum for flashing.

have you tried my guide? Use your old XP system.

If you press the Power + Menu, and the message "Communicating with PC.. ".

It should be this order.

1. With your old windows XP pc, the UIW software should be running first.
2. Plug the USB to your PC
3. Plug the other end of the USB to Tablet, the upper port.
4. Hold Power + Menu, then it will be detected to your PC the message of new hardware found will pop up.
5. Install the driver.
6. The IUW should be green after installing the driver.

Please tell me what number above you experiencing problem.

when I hold power + Menu It just stops at the infotmic screen with build (520) no communicating with PC

Do some diagnostic.

Try plugging to any available port of your PC and the do the Power + Menu test, but your IUW should be open first, and close everytime you change port, if nothing works, try changing another USB cable.

What? I do not understand.


I did try a usb that I made myself then I bought one figuring it was because of faulty wiring.

well the USB works when a mouse is pluged into it.
