file sharing

hi, thanks in advance and apologies if this has been done to death.
i want to be able to edit text from my tab windows and main frame sys
using whatever works as a host. Adobe seems obvious but can't make it work
word docs don't seem to work either
please help

If you have the files shared from a windows computer using the file sharing, pick up ES File Explorer or File Manager HD and you can browse to the shared folders, then copy, move, open, etc. any of the files from your TF.

I would be careful of using Polaris, there is a bug that sometimes when you save the file becomes corrupted and unrecoverable.

I have been using Kingsoft Office (which is currently free) but I also have QuickOffice, Documents 2 Go and Office Suite installed and all are much better than Polaris.
