I bought an android tablet in august from a reputable american company, the tablet was then supplied by a third party. I took it out the box and charged it with the intention of puting it away for christmas. I opened it again the other day just to give it a boost before wrapping, it started doing updates which i allowed even though it seemed to take for ever. After rebooting i found that most of the folders had dissappeared from the internal memory card, i could not download, i could not copy/paste etc. I contacted the company to ask about the possibility of getting the firmware to try and recover the tablet, the seller pont blankly refused and would not give me the manufacturers contact details to sk them. Is there anything i can do, the tablet is: Model No: Q102 Android Version: 4.4.2 Firmware Version: 4.5 Kernel Version: 3.3.0 hc@hc-xps-8700 #98 Mon Jun 16211:14:40 CST 2014 Build Number: Fiber_q102-eng 4.4.2 KOT49H DDR420 20140621 Processor Type: Quadcore-A31 Series SELinux Status: Enforcing assistance appreciated.
