Bought a "SuperPad i7" Android (Stormrider -Android 2.2 Tablet ) for my 12-year-old for X-mas. When he tried to access the Wi-fi he gets the following message: "

! Sorry
The application Settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly.
Please try again.
Force Close

Can't get beyond this message. Anybody have any solutions? Have a disappointed kid!
Thanks

I have an ematic tablet, and sadly, the same thing happened to me, and I haven't figured out how to fix it. Someone here really tried to help, but I took all the advice and it is still not working. I am planning to return it tomorrow and spend another 100 bucks and get a Kindle...

same thing happened to me on Lenovo Ideapad K1. I took it back to the store and talked to the tech specialists. They just did a restore to factory settings and everything worked perfectly after that. Said it could have been a virus or just a "software glitch". The infamous "glitch", meaning no explanation. I've kept the same one and am using it until I understand it, I had 14 days from purchase to decide if I want to exchange it for another one or if I will return it for a full refund. So far no more problems of that nature.

The problem with some of these like the craig tablet is it boots to that screen but it wont let you go any further like the setting because if you choose to force close then the android screen comes back, I'm wondering if i'd be better to go with apple as I am new to all this but hate to have same problems with another android device.
