Free Space on Sony Tablet S

Hello!

I'm new on this forum, and with this tablet.
I have one question.

If i buy Sony Tablet S 16 GB, I should have 16 GB space free?
Coz i have only 8 GB to my files, rest is not available for me.

No because there are hidden application that are needed to run the tablet that will use some of the 16 gb.

True.. the best option is to buy a 32gb sd card..

Buy the 16g and get the 128g card thats what I did

128g? I didn't know they made them that big! If you go to your Select Apps icon on your tablet they have an app called Box that says Get 50GB Free! Not sure what that is about. If you missed yesterday's Amazon Free App Of The Day, Slashtop, you can still get it free from the Sony apps. Also, Getjar has Walkabout for free.

actually you do have 16GB on the 16GB sony tablet. if you look under storage in your sony tablet s, you will see that the internal storage on the tablet is actually splitted in two. you have 8.92GB and 3.94GB of storage. a total of 13GB of storage. the remaing missing 3GB is reserved for system format and other factory hidden stuff.
