First it wasn't as painful as I expected but a few things are weird and don't' know if is just me or to be expected.
First a number of apps that I have used for a long time, after downloading are now miniaturized.. like 1/4 of the size they were.
. i.e. Engadget, ABC Action News, .. and I can't get the MSNBC app to work at all just keeps doing a force close.Even added the Airmail that I know if requires and still no go..

so how do I figure out if it my system or just part of the rooting process that making this act funny ??

2nd ? .. anyway for me to get my magazines from Barnes and Nobles or is that function now gone ?

Any other helpful hints would be appreciated...Thanks guys...:)

If you go to http://www.ke5asu.com/test.html it will show what you are running. Maybe some apks need to be recompiled for 2.3.4.

I am on CM 7 and those apps were behaving the same for me. So I dumped them.

Thanks.. good to know.others were having the same issue.. did get some good advise on the Customizing Nook on FB site... if you go into SPARE PARTS.. and uncheck.. Compatiblity MODE.. and then reboot... I was able to get Engadget and the ABC TV channel to come back to normal.. but NOT the MSNBC....
that was a easy solution that I never even thought of ..
