How does one upload stuff to your tablet?

I need to know how to put stuff on my tablet. I put the movie dodgeball on it earlier, and was watching it for hours.
It disappeared later on for some weird reason. And I need to know how to upload music and ebooks and what
type of ebooks does a android tablet read.

You can also connect via USB to your PC. If you have a microSD or USB port you can use a microSD card or USB drive to transfer them.

Then there are cloud options like Google Drive, Dropbox and Box.net.

Android tablets can handle pretty much any ebook file format

I'd recommend using an app like Aldiko or Moonreader for reading ebooks. You could also try the free Kindle app.
