Internet Browsing - Poor Quality Sites

Hi Guys,

I've just bought a "Android 2.2 Froyo 8 inch tablet PC epad A8 with 512MB RAM 4GB HDD (IMX515 A8)"

This is my first Android device so my knowledge is very slim on this topic.

I have been using it for past couple of days and apart from a couple of issues I would rate the product highly.

One issue I have found is that all the websites I go on come in "Mobile Format" meaning the quality is very poor. How would I access the website in normal format rather than mobile format?

For instance the quality of BBC iPlayer is appalling as the video pixelates all the time in full screen mode.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

You can set your browser to desktop mode but then the pages will take longer to load

Sorry to sound dumb, but how would I do that? Also in respect to taking longer, I would only be using it in wifi areas so no big concern.

Thanks

Ps. What's the tablet I bought like? As in quality and reliability?

The easiest way is to download Dolphin Browser Mini, go to the toolbox and select the user-agent to be Desktop
