Music files showing up that aren't on my device??

I recently purchased an Android tablet (Superpad 6) with Android Gingerbread 2.3 installed and when I go to the music app, it shows a large list of files (most in Chinese) that aren't actually on my tablet.. When I click them to 'play' them, nothing happens, but they are still there. Does anyone know how to get rid of these? Thanks..
