New member & new to tablets, as well

I am both a new member here & new to using a tablet. I want to get the most out if my Coby MID8042, so I found this site hoping to get guidance from some seasoned tablet owners. For example, if anyone can tell meif this particular tablet can be modified so it may be recognized by google play store as there are several apps which I would like to use.
