New to Tablet Hacking!

    Greetings, I'm Den and I'm glad to have discovered this site.
    A while ago I got this tablet as a gift, but would like to find out if I can upgrade it to KitKat, mainly because:
    a) I want to, and
    b) JB 4.1.1 has an SSL bug (heartbleed).
    The tablet is an @tab 8 X2 B. Pretty basic, but usable. Appears to be stock rooted!
    So will be haunting whatever parts of the forum can help with this task.
