I just bought a new Acer Icona Tab and i'm in the process of charging it. My question is can I use the charger I have for my Netbook? I'm not too sure if I have to use the specific charger, it's just way too short! Thanks for your help!

If it has the same type of connector and power rating then yes. But like I said, it has to be the same output that the charger for the Iconia. If you are not sure don't do it, you might end up frying the tab without even using it. Fyi, it doesn't charge via USB either.
