New Wondermedia 8650

Okay so I just bought a wondermedia WM8650
Android version 2.2
Kernel Version 2.6.32.9-default
Build number generic-eng2.2 froyo ver1.5.0-20110613.053944

I want to upgrade to something better, i'm not sure what it would be called. I need to know what I need for the upgrade and instructions on how to actually do it. Sorry if this has been answered before, I just need some help.

Please I need help with mine (WM8650 Android 2.2,Green LED 7 inch) it can only power on if I press the reset button while charging it. once it is on, it works on battery(cannot power with battery) it also goes off every 20min when on battery and will only power again by pressing reset button while plugged on. It works without going/tripping off only when plugged.
