processcom.google.process.gapps stopps - how can I fix?

I've applied the 2nd firmware update to my Gadmei T883, but when I log in to my Calendar & input my Gmail a/c details I get the error "Unfortunately, the processcom.google.process.gapps has stopped" how can I fix this?​

Go to Settings>Apps>All Apps find Google services frame work. Stop it, clear it and then reboot.

Why does this happen? I ran into it too. I tried the cache/data clean, and rebooted, then I got this:

I had to factory reset to recover.
