I couldn't find any dedicated posts for this- is there a recommended microsd card to get for use in the nook color? I'd like to store video files on it for playback.

    I suggest a class 4 or better. I got a 32gb class 4 in my tab.

get a Sandisk class 4 or 6 - note not all class 4 or class 6 perform the same way - Sandisk has been found by many users to b the fastest for nook Color

using H2testw, I get faster speeds from my Transcend class 6 compared to my now spoiled Sandisk class 4.

I use Sandisk for my other devices but am unlucky with my NC's 4 Gig microsd conking out. I will be exchanging it since it's only been with me for about 3 weeks.

I guess it's hit and miss.

Class 4 work well with my NC. Whatever brand you buy, get at least one that comes with an SD adapter.
