Rooting and ROM options for Kyros MID7012-4GB?

Any help would be appreciated. I ordered 3 for my kids and want to get them fine tuned before Christmas.

There are some thread about rooting 7012. I think the latest SuperOneClick works with it, but you may need to edit the driver's files in order to make sure the computer recognizes the tablet. IIRIC it's explained in one of the threads about 7012 (use the forum's search function).

About a custom ROM, there isn't any so far AFAIK, but you may want to follow this thread/post:
