Skype download Troubles

When I first downloaded skype I was surprised to find there was no video chat. I soon uninstalled it. Apparently the new version has this capability but upon trying to download it, my Acer iconia tells me it is incompatible. I would very much like to have skype before I head off to college. Is there anyone else with this problem or knows how I get skype back?

I found the exact same thing when I tried to locate it for my Viewsonic gTab. Apparently it's only compatible with a few devices and they are saying the equivalent of "gotta start somewhere".

In order to get Skype back on to your tablet you'll have to locate and sideload an APK. It's a pain in the backside that they don't keep the previous version available for download.
