Sounds does not work

I recently purchased a Wonder Media 8650 and the sound worked and now all of a sudden it does not work, only if you plug in the headphones, does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I went into settings and made sure it was not on silent or anything.

Hi, welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new tablet. If the sound was working and stopped when you plugged in the headphones and unplugged them, it's probably a problem with the headphone connector. You could try gently probing the opening with a non-metallic object, like a toothpick, to see if you can get it to make contact again.
