Sytab7mx problem connecting to wi- fi networks

I have the Sylvania 7" mini tablet model SYTAB7MX. I am having connection problems to the network. Even standing in front of the router it reads “Not in range” am I the only one that has this problem? Or is there something else I can do?

Reset your tablet (poke the hole on the back). When these tablets go to 'sleep' they drop the wifi and WILL NOT pick it back up until you reboot.

also try to connect with a wep not wpa or wpa2 encryption, you'll have to change it in the router, and then make sure that in the tablet connects via wifi, but in wep; usually this problem happens with a wpa or wpa2 encryption security

try powering off and then back on. thats what i did for mine
