Unable to purchase app from android market

Attempting to purchase an app from Android Market gives me

"problem processing your request. Please visit checkout.google.com to fix it"

Contacted google and they tell me that the device I'm using "is not supported for use with Android Market "
Has any one had a similar problem ?

I have an Infotmic Tab101F supplied by AustralianAndroidTablets who are not responsive to emails (and no other means of contacting)
