Update db?

Would it be possible for others who received the update to share it with others thrue some kind of database. Is it one big file or many small ones? I don't know? Just an idea and I suppose that others know better than me in that case. Enlighten me if I'm wrong or riht here.

You can find the update if you look hard enough.
But there isn't just one version, there are many depending on your country, and what version you have to start with.
Unless you know what you are doing it's best to avoid this method and wait for the update.
