Update/Upgrade or reset tablet.

Hi ppl,

This is my first post here. I have a tablet with Android 2.2. I think that it´s a Sinor M8 (Sinor M8: 8 Inch Android 2.2 Tablet with High-Resolution Display | Gadgets & Geek world) but I´m not sure. The problem is that the OS doesn´t work well, for example, Google tells me that it´s an unknow device. My question is how can I reinstall Android 2.2 or higher (I prefer Honeycomb). Is there any ROM for this device or an tutorial of how can I compile the Android source for this device. The device has an ARMv7 Processor rev2 (v7l) and 512 MB.

I saw the Android source page (http://source.android.com/source/downloading.html) where I can download the source code of android, compile it and install it, but my question is if this is enough. Is it a good decision?

I saw that my device has SEC-SMDKV210 8in Android 2.2 CortexTM-A8 512MB 1Ghz HDMI. Is there any ROM for this hardware? I saw that many devices have SMDKV210.

Sorry i reopened this thread. But i just want to ask a couple of thing.

I got a Lenovo Ideapad K1, and as gabvalentine i think my Honeycomb isn't working ok. It cointinusly hang, send error messages. Could anyone told me how to reinstalla a virign Honeycomb on my tablet? or at least restore the settings??
