Upgrading 4.0.4 to 4.4 KitKat

    I am not computer savvy but i have a 7.7 samsung galaxy tablet version 4.0.4 their are alot of apps periscope included that you have to have 4.4 kitkat (whatever that means) to use can you upgrade a tablet or can i upgrade to a 4.4 version and how do i do it.

    It may be possible, but unless Samsung was generous in the amount of space given to the /system partition, unlikely. With that said, please post the following information:

    1. Model Number
    2. Android Version, found by going to Settings > More > About device.
    3. Firmware Version (AP, CP, CSC), found by dialing *#1234# in the dialer or by installing Phone Info from the Play Store and running it.
    4. Service Provider
    5. Country
    6. Is the phone rooted? (Yes/No)
    7. Is a custom ROM installed? (Yes/No, and the name of the ROM)
