I purchased a usb enthernet adapter but it requires a cd download I ran on laptop but the files are all for windows or is there way to transfer that data I don't it will work google android OS. Also I have 7" Epad (battery dead) that has one of those external usb/enthernet adapters could I connect the usb from the Apad into the Epad adapter and then connect my enthernet line.

no each tablet has specific drivers just for that tablet it would be easy to just buy a wireless router and set that up and then connect you tablet through wifi

I saw the recent 10 inch zenithink tablet comes with an ethernet dongle.
Do any of the 7 inch tablets like the Hero RK7 or the WiTS A81 come with an ethernet dongle?

Yes! That is the very type of thing that I am looking at. A Shanzi unit called LanPad has the same connector.
The ethernet is important to me because in my work I have to use a physical connection to test ports on Cisco switches.
    thanks ZilverZurfarn.

Shown above with LAN port connected and two USB ports. You do know you can use iTouch connector with USB also with this device.
