Suddenly posting on this site is ahuge chore.

The content entry box some how suppresses all suggestions offered by keyboards on android devices? Why would use such atemplate on an android site?

And why does it lag so much when you enter text even on a high end tablet?

And have you tried positioning the cursor in this text box?

Seriously guys, use your own product some time with android.

Are you running Honeycomb by chance? Honeycomb and VBulletin don't play nice with each other unfortunately.

We recently had to update our forum software for several reasons.

What you can try is click on Settings on the top right and then click on "General Settings" in the left panel.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and under

Miscellaneous Options

Message Editor Interface:

select : Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls


See if that helps. We are still in the process of trying to fix some things that the update changed.

Yes, of course I'm using honeycomb.
The settings change does help, thanks for that.

But... , I don't think you can hand waive this away as a honeycomb issue, since the default settings also affect
other browsers, by suppressing their spell checkers.

Honeycomb is the standard, and it is what your audience will be using so you need to get away from some windows-centric forum package and into something that your readership will be using.
