Why do some android will not run

Hi all

I am new to this forum so i hope i am not asking the same question as someone else.

Why do some android apps run on only some phones and not on others.
EG: i have android 4.0.3 and have been trying to download EMS NOTES. i get a message that it is not campatable with my devise. Why is it so.

There isn't any good reason for this, it happens cause the market reads your build.prop and then reads what device and or screen size the app is designed for. Then then market either allows the download or puts up the message you received.
Most of us edits our build.prop to trick the market, sometimes LCD needs to be lowered as well, another solution is side loading, install app on another android then pull the com. From that device and install onto the device that the market blocks.

Richard, as vampirefo said, some apps are not compatible with specific architecture Android tablets.
